What is my investment?

Your investment can be as little as the space necessary to house an ATM or as much as the purchase of an ATM, all depending on the Plan Option you choose. Your investment in a Transac ATM will generate more residual income in the form of surcharges and increase the amount of money spent at your location.

How many transactions will I do per month?

ATMs with a lot of foot traffic, where customers are in and out within 2 minutes and spend less than $20, typically do a high volume of transactions. We would be happy to provide you with a “guesstimate” based on our experiences with similar businesses.

How does the ATM work?

When the card is inserted, the ATM dials a 1-800 number to Transac’s network processor, TNS Smart Network, which adds the surcharge amount and then sends the transaction request to Interac or other network connections for authorization from the cardholder’s financial institution. Once authorized, a signal is sent back to the ATM to dispense the cash requested.
